Caitlin Verdu

4-H Extension Agent, 4-H Youth Development

A native of Roanoke, Virginia, Caitlin received her B.A. in Environmental Science and Policy & Hispanic Studies from The College of William and Mary. In 2019 she received her Masters of Public Administration from Virginia Tech.

Upon receiving her Bachelor's, Caitlin completed a summer internship with the VCE Natural Resources Extension Program assisting biologists and foresters at Manassas National Battlefield Park and the Conway Robinson State Forest. She then accepted a position conducting urban outreach for Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge, under the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.

As the Arlington County 4-H Extension Agent, Caitlin is responsible for developing opportunities for youth to learn citizenship, leadership, and life skills. She also serves on Virginia Cooperative Extension's Northern District Leadership Team and is the Unit Coordinator for the Arlington VCE office.
