In response to COVID-19, VCE partnered with FOUA, Rock Spring Church, and local gardeners to create a produce processing and bagging site to donate produce to local food pantries. Below is a recap of our work in June, provided by one of our volunteers. Learn about an opportunity to help bag produce and/or donate produce from your garden for families in need.
Geena interviewed some volunteers at the end of June. Learn more about this opportunity to help bag produce and/or donate produce from your garden for families in need.

Collard greens, kale, lettuce, basil, mint, sage, green beans, beets, radishes, carrots, peppers, cucumbers, zucchini, tomatoes
- Where does the produce go?
St. Charles Churh, Our Lady Queen of Peace, Arlington YMCA and others. If you are a gardener and would like to donate produce, here is a list of pantries that accept produce from gardeners.
