Get Involved

Virginia Cooperative Extension relies on volunteers to accomplish its mission. We believe that active citizen involvement in our programs makes a difference in our success. The work of volunteers at the local level helps us leverage our paid faculty and staff resources much more effectively. We welcome interested volunteers of all experience (or inexperience) levels. Although we have some drop-in volunteer opportunities, most of our volunteers get the benefit of in-depth training programs.

Check out our training calendar to find out when are trainings are normally held. You may also subscribe to find out when applications or information becomes available for a particular volunteer program.
