Master Financial Education Volunteer Fall 2024 Training
Welcome to the Virginia Cooperative Extension Master Financial Education Volunteer Program!
Over the next six weeks, you will be trained on a series of financial modules that will help you empower families to increase their financial literacy and build financial security.
This course is being offered for 2 counties: Prince William and Arlington.
Schedule
The first and last class of this series will be held in person. All other sessions will be offered online via Canvas and Zoom.

September 16 - October 21, 2024
6:30pm – 8:30pm
Course Completion Requirements
This is a six-week course presented twice a week via Zoom meetings. You will ONLY receive a Certificate of Completion by successfully passing a background check, participating in all scheduled Zoom meetings, and passing all quizzes. New quizzes are available after each Zoom meeting and must be completed by the indicated due dates. A quiz score of at least 8 out of 10 is required. You may take a quiz an unlimited number of times for automatic grading. The highest score will be recorded.
Zoom
Recurring Zoom meetings are on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Please note: The first and last sessions will be in person, and all others will be held virtually. A syllabus with the Zoom links will be available on the Canvas course site.
